To play Big Time Hockey, you’ll need two players. The game’s objective is to score more goals than your opponent after three periods of play (or in overtime). The game consists of 54 Action cards, one 10-sided die, 15 Pucks, 1 game board, 1 Quick Start Aid and 1 Playbook.

Ice hockey is popular around the world, and Big Time Hockey has been designed to provide a light, smooth-playing, card-based simulation of the winter sport. But this is no simple draw-and-play-a-card game – there is lots of depth, decisions and interaction in BTH. However, its rules are easy to learn, and every game you play will yield results similar to pro hockey. The focus is on scoring chances and plenty of variation every time you play. Practically everything else is here, too, including the sport’s ebb and flow, deflections, blocked shots, super saves, forechecking, penalties, fights, and pulling the goalie
